K. A. Beaulieu is best known for his work in the medical and nursing simulation and accreditation communities.

K. A. Beaulieu started writing in high school and had several pieces of poetry published. He has authored several nonfiction books on medical and nursing simulation and program accreditation. His largest work to date is Camp Haan: The history of Riverside's World War II Antiaircraft Training Center.

In 2025, K. A. Beaulieu committed to beginning to write fiction in addition to his non-fiction work.
